The garden is at 500 South Miller Avenue, at West Emma and Miller streets. The season runs March 1 to November 30, with water on from about May to October or November depending on drought. Plots rent by the year: a 20-by-20 bed $80 for residents and $96 for non-residents, 10-by-20 $70 and $84, 10-by-10 $65 and $77, 6-by-12 $55 and $66, and a 2-by-8 raised bed $40 and $48, with a 50 percent deposit returned in November to gardeners who follow the rules and a limit of two plots. Registration for 2027 opens January 7 for residents and January 14 for everyone else, online through WebTrac or at the recreation center; plots must show work by April 15.
