Great Bark Dog Park and Dog Park Trail

The City’s fenced off-leash dog park off 119th Street, with a loop trail inside the fence and the Dog Park Trail running to it from Rothman Open Space or Finch Street. Dog waste goes in compostable bags, provided free, into the compost bins.

The Dog Park Trail, the City’s facility page says, runs “from Rothman Open Space or Finch Street to the Great Bark Dog Park and back,” with a loop trail inside the fenced park itself; the listing gives 119th Street as the address, hours of 4 am to 10 pm, parking, restrooms and a pet pick-up station, and 303-661-1306 as the contact. Since April 2019 the park has composted dog waste: use the compostable bags provided at the park, not plastic bags from home, and the separate dog-waste bins, which PetScoop empties; the City warns that contaminated recycling bins may lose their service.
