A resident asks

When does the Coal Creek Trail reopen near the water plant?

The City closed a section by the Lafayette Water Reclamation Facility on September 8 for floodplain and retaining-wall work it expected to take about eight weeks, which runs out in early November, and had not posted a reopening when this was checked. Follow the signed detour and check the ConeZone map; part of the detour is ungroomed, so walk bikes there.
