Flagg Park trailhead
Boulder County’s trailhead on the Coal Creek and Rock Creek trails in southern Lafayette, part of Two Creeks Open Space: 18 car spaces, an accessible space, two horse-trailer spaces and the trails’ only permanent restroom.
Flagg Park is a Boulder County Parks & Open Space trailhead, part of the Two Creeks Open Space, where the Coal Creek and Rock Creek trails (14 miles each, both rated easy) meet in the south of Lafayette. The lot has 18 car spaces, one van-accessible space and two horse-trailer spaces, and a restroom; the City’s trail page calls it the regional system’s one permanent facility. Parks are open sunrise to sunset, dogs stay on leash, bikes keep to designated trails, and there is no camping, no drones and no hunting or firearms. The county’s page lists heavy equipment crossing the trail near the Coal Creek junction from October 26 to November 6, with flaggers, and no street address; the City’s trails map shows the way in.
