The City’s arts center at the north end of Public Road: free exhibits that change every couple of months, workshops, and the Cultural Arts Board’s meetings. “Gathered,” the Open Studios group show, hangs November 13 to January 10.

The Collective is the City of Lafayette’s community arts center, in a former church at 201 North Public Road, open Tuesday to Thursday and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Friday 10 to 7 and Sunday noon to 5, closed Mondays. The Arts & Cultural Resources department programs it: the Día de los Muertos exhibit “Arcos y Portales” runs to November 8, and Gathered, the Open Studios group exhibit follows from November 13 to January 10, 2027, after a two-day closure to install it. Single workshops are listed on its page (a winter wreath workshop on December 10 was full with a waitlist when read). Bilingual staff; arts@lafayetteco.gov.
