The Read Queen Bookstore and Cafe

An independent, women-owned new-and-used bookstore and cafe on North Harrison Avenue, across from WOW!, open early every day with coffee and espresso, puzzles, cards and gifts. It supports the library’s author talks.

The Read Queen, at 129 North Harrison Avenue, is open Monday to Friday 7 am to 7 pm and weekends 8 to 7, with a note that winter and holiday hours may vary. It sells new and used books, gifts, puzzles and cards, and the cafe pours coffee and espresso. Preorders can be placed by phone or in person. The shop supports the library’s author events, Kristin Koval’s November 12 talk among them.
